Stelios Place is a “no-frills chic” accommodation, literally a few steps away from Perissa Beach in Santorini. I must confess everything seems bigger in the pictures, once there you will find a relatively small house with several guest rooms, but with everything you need, a reasonable sized room with private bathroom, basic decor, pool, and a warm welcome from Stelios that will pick you up at the harbour or airport. It’s a good value for the money.
Perissa is mainly a summer resort so you won’t find here the typical white houses from Fira, the main attraction is Perissa Beach, that attracts lots of tourists because of its length. The beach has dark sand due to the volcanic origin of the island and a huge rock called Mesa Vouno is the guardian of the place. But if you are looking for a comfortable sandy beach this one is not recommended, there is little sand here, instead lots of small rocks also in the water so beware with your steps! For the rest, amazing scenery, warm water, warm days and nights, and lots of entertainment…

cala mariolu
The Orosei stretch of coast is marked by a wild scenery and some hidden gems.
Travel along the coast by boat is the best way to discover some of the most beautiful and inaccessible beaches in Sardinia, such as Cala Mariolu, a charming retried of turquoise waters and rugged cliffs.
One of the options for this trip is provided by the Ogliastra Nuovo Consorzio Marittimo. This one-day boat excursion departures from Arbatax. The trip has several stops along the coast in beautiful beaches (Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine and Cala Luna) and caves (Grotta del Fico and Grotte del bue Marino). The journey is fun, the crew and diving instructors barely speak english, we all communicate with gestures, like italians in general, but everybody is very friendly!
Of course the best and more adventurous option would be to rent your own motorised dinghy (no experience is required!).
Here the mediterranean mountain and sea collided to impress!

If you are looking for a Caribbean like beach in the mediterranean La Pelosa is the one!
The scenery is amazing: white sand and clear waters in all shades of blue! The rocky landscape of the island of Asinara and the Aragonese tower increase even more the beauty of the place. It is a small beach (usually crowded) but the visit is mandatory!
